Grandcamp Maisy

Grandcamp-Maisy is halfway between the beaches of UTAH and OMAHA and was violently bombed on Tuesday, June 6, 1944.

The Americans who came from Pointe du Hoc took Grandcamp on June 8, 1944 at exactly 5 pm.

The Americans made the port of Grandcamp, in view of the large hold and the Crampon wharf (100m long), one of the main ports of disembarkation of equipment. The Americans could get out of their ships, on dry foot, tanks and cannons ...

therefore keep pace to not get lost, or so read map IGN that you will provide to you. They are pretty athletic but what a pleasure to discover the shimmering landscapes of fall or the swamp under the snow with that feeling of being alone in the world (or almost).

Up to you! And if the horse impresses you, there are also very nice ponies, donkeys or carriages at Margaret, the owner of the place.
